During your visit
Restrooms
Public restrooms are accessible and have baby changing stations. We also have a private room for chest feeding or pumping parents available upon request.
Personal attendants
Personal attendants of visitors with disabilities are admitted (limited to one attendant per visitor).

Families can prepare for their visit with this social narrative. The museum has a small sensory-friendly room with dimmable light. Sunglasses, noise-canceling headphones, and fidgets are available to borrow as needed.

Private tours of the current exhibition with verbal descriptions of the artwork may be scheduled for Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Tours may include a component in which the visitor can touch objects that relate to the exhibition. To schedule a tour, please call (612) 359-8991 or email info@cafesjianarttrust.org.

Manual and electric wheelchairs
Manual and electric wheelchairs are welcome in all public areas of the museum. Nonmotorized mobility devices such as the Alinker and single-seat and knee scooters (manual and electric) are permitted, as are walkers, crutches, canes, braces, and other similar manual devices.
To ensure the safety of visitors and artwork, other types of mobility devices—including tricycles, standing scooters, carts, hoverboards, and gyroscopic devices—are not permitted. If your mobility device is not permitted, we will provide a free manual wheelchair (first-come, first-served) and will store your electric or battery-operated device in a nonpublic area during your visit. We are unable to store any devices with liquid fuel.
